iPhone use in the air

So this is interesting. It was inevitable though, that something like this would happen. I flew a couple of weeks ago and use my phone in "Airplane Mode" and it worked great. Nobody complained, but I did wonder if a flight attendant would ask me to turn off my device, etc.

Fortunately, I had no problems. Clearly, this flight attendant was mistaken on the technology and how it works. It's unfortunate that it happened. Hopefully thought it will educate others in the airline industry. Click on the picture to read the article in detail.

Some movies never get old...

No matter how many times I've seen this film...  No matter how many times it is on cable or tv...  I watch it - unless Lori is watching tv with me.  She has seen it enough times I guess.   Some movies just never get old...  this is among my favorites of all time and if it was on tv every single day, I could/would watch it every single day.  Incidentally, I have it saved to my DVR as well.  :)

I know, I need to grow up :)

I know, I am immature. I was playing around while on hold and re-visited my days of childhood - where it took very little to ammuse me. Really though, even now at the ripe age of 35, it still takes very little to ammuse me. :)

HiFi - Apple is amazing

With every Apple product I buy I become a bigger and bigger fan of EVERYTHING they do. I got my first Mac book (and first Apple computer ever) back in the first part of this year and fell in love with it immediately.



Then, June 29th I was one of the over half-million people to get an iPhone - which is phenomenal and definitely the best all in one device, smartphone, cell phone, pda I've ever owned or used. Truly is fantastic.


Now, I treated myself for my 35th to the iPod Hi-Fi. It is quite impressive for such a small box to have such great sound. Is it ideal and set to replace traditional sound system? No, but it definitely serves many purposes for listening to your iPod in a compact device, portable even.


Hmmm... Wonder what device will be next for me?

Thirty-Five!

No denying it - I am now officially in my mid-thirties.  Technically I have been, but there is no getting around it now.  :o(

I'm not sure how I feel about it - overall I guess I'm fine.  I am really happy with where my life is - professionally and personally - with a great wife and friend in Lori.  

So here it is.  My 35th.  Happy Birthday to me.

iPhone - Will it Blend?

This is very painful to watch. I am ecstatic with my iPhone and wouldn't dream of doing such a thing - even if I did have a second one.

Freaky that it turns into virtually all black dust, but still painful to see.

If you have heart trouble or a weak stomach, you may want to look away!

Coolest or Oddest baby stroller ever???

Cool?  Sort of.  Would I ever get one for my child - when I have a child?  Doubtful.  Maybe for fun, but not everyday use.  I love Star Wars, but come on...  Nonetheless, I chuckled when I saw this.
